Ini Utharam is a Malayalam thriller directed by Sudheesh Ramachandran. The film starts with ‘Janaki,’ played by Aparna Surrenders, in a police station admitting that she committed a murder. police suspect foul play, and an investigation begins. National award winner Aparna Balamurali played her role excellently. The film was written by Ranjith Unni and produced by Arun Raj Pillai and Varun Raj Pillai. Hesham Abdul Wahab helms the Musical Department, and Jidhin DK does editing.
‘In Utharam’ explores different shades of vengeance and stands out as a one-time watchable movie. This is the debut directorial venture of Sudheesh Ramachandran. This one is a thriller for adults with some element of love. The films follow an average pace that holds the audience to become part of the film. Towards the climax, ‘Ini Utharam’ is a same old format Malayalam thriller with added elements in the making of the film. This one is a good use of time but not a brilliant experience.
