Thattassery Koottam talks about a group of young men familiar with the Malayalam film industry. Arjun Ashokan plays the lead role in this one. The daily life of these guys and the problems they have to face are the main plots of the film. This is Director Anoop’s Maiden directorial venture, penned by Santhosh Echikanam and Geo P.V. Thattassery Koottam is produced by Dileep, who is also the brother of Director Anoop. Arjun Ashokan played the role of Sanju, and it was convincing. The main highlight of the film is the cinematography helmed by Jithin Stanislaus.

The film is set in Aluva so we can see the beautiful landscapes, Kochi metro, and Shiva temple in this one. Overall this one is a lightweight movie we can watch only as time pass. The film does not contain anything to pull over the audience. Malayalam film industry is evolving, but “Thattassery Koottam sticks to the old story with the same old making style. The same old formula is used here too.
